ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

Admissions in MSM Sainik School, Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan are meant for boys and girls. The students are admitted in classes IV to IX & XI on the basis of an All India Entrance Examination conducted by the School. Website:www.msmsainikschool.in

AGE

Candidates who have attained minimum 8 years of age for class IV and adding 1 year to the next consecutive Class as on 1st April of the year in which admission is sought are eligible to take the examination.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

Admission to Classes IV to IX & XI is granted strictly on the basis of an Entrance Examination which will be conducted on the designated dates. The Entrance Examination will consist of a Written Test of 100 marks and the Director’s Interview of 25 marks.

Note: The medium and language for Entrance Examination can be opted either English or Hindi. The standard of examination would be the CBSE Syllabus of previous class passed by the student, means for Class IV the standard of entrance exam would be equivalent to that of Class III and so on.
Qualifying Standards for all the Classes: The minimum qualifying marks in the Written Examination are 50%.

PHYSICAL EXAMINATION & INTERVIEW

Selected candidates, as per merit, out of the qualified candidates will be called for Director's Interview. The final merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the written test, Medical Test, Physical Test and Interview. Admissions are given on the basis of final merit list.
Physical Examination and Final Interview will be schedule in MSM Sainik School campus only (subject to Government guidelines at that time).

MEDICAL EXAMINATION

Candidates, who have been qualified in the written exam, need to go through a medical examination by an MBBS doctor and submit the Medical Fitness Certificate before the Physical Examination & Interview.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION

Parents/Guardians of the students who have cleared the Entrance Examination are to furnish the following at the time of admission:

• Medical Report.
• Adhaar Card of Student & Parents.
• Six self-addressed envelopes.
• Six photographs of the Student and one each of the parents.
• Demand Draft in favour of MSM Sainik School, Payable at Sri Ganganagar for the prescribed fee.
• Transfer Certificate (TC) duly countersigned by the officer authorised (within 30 day of Admission).
• Proof of Def/SC/ST/OBC/BPL catgegory
• Photographs of the relative who shall be next guardians of the child (if any) duly attested by the parents.

FEE DETAILS

• An amount of Ist Installment is to be paid by the parents during the time of admission as per their respective classes. The fees payment mode DD (Demand Draft) on favour of school / Online Mode (UPI/Bank Account).
• The mode of remitting School fee is through Demand Drafts in favour of MSM Sainik School, Payable at Sri Ganganagar.
• To facilitate correct credit, the parents must mention the Name of the student and Class on the back of the Bank Draft.
• Fee can also be transferred on line to MSM Sainik School's Bank Account No: 34818615834 , Branch: State Bank of India, JCT Mills, Sri Ganganagar , IFSC Code: SBIN0005074 .
• Remittance by Cheque is not accepted.
• Proper official receipts countersigned by the Accountant of the school must be obtained and preserved as proof of payments made.

NOTE: Parents are not expected to remit any dues in cash to any member of school staff for deposit in the school funds. They are requested to deposit in the School account only. Withdrawal on Non-Payment of Fees: All fee is payable in two installments in beginning of the School Academic Year as per the given schedule. If dues are not received by the first day of the month by which they are to be paid, a reminder will be sent to the parents/guardians. After waiting for 15 days, the name of the student shall be struck off the rolls and he will be sent home at parent's risk & cost without any further notice. Recovery of school dues, if any, will be initiated. No School Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate / Character Certificate will be issued until all outstanding dues are paid to the school in full.

INDEMNITY

The school authorities will not be liable for any compensation on account of injuries, fatal or otherwise, which may be sustained by a cadet at any time during his stay in the school, while taking part in the PT/sports/games/ athletics/ swimming/ NCC/ other extra-curricular activities in the school or outside the school or while the cadet is participating in tours, excursions, treks, hikes or any other kind of outings organized by the school or through any means of travel.

WITHDRAWALS

The cadet may be withdrawn from the school on the following grounds:

1. Disciplinary Grounds: The Director, MSM Sainik School may in interest of the school, order withdrawal from the school, if the cadet's conduct, behavior or influence is found detrimental to the general discipline/ interest of the school.
2. Medical Ground: If found medically unfit to follow the school routine or suffering from any communicative disease or any other medical reason which makes the cadet permanently unfit for his entry in NDA/Armed Forces.
3. Parent/Guardian’s Request: Boys are admitted to the school on the understanding that they will remain in school for the entire course. In case any parent wants to withdraw his/her son on any account/personal reasons including revision of fee, he must give the notice of withdrawal in writing to the Principal at least two months before the commencement of the academic year. Failure to give this notice will entail forfeiture of Caution Money.
4. Poor Academic Grounds: The cadet who fails in the Annual Promotional Examination will be withdrawn from the School. However, one detention during Orientation Period may be permitted for the students till Class IX.
